For the rest of 2022 Phenomenal Fudge will be hosting a monthly drawing of people's favorite charities and donating $100 in the winner’s name to a charity of their choice. Pretty cool, huh? To get you started, here is an example of a charity we admire for March.

Have you ever heard of Mercy Chefs? “Mercy Chefs is a faith-based, non-profit disaster relief organization. We exist to provide professionally prepared, restaurant-quality meals to victims, volunteers, and first responders in natural disasters and national emergencies, and we partner with existing like-minded organizations to further their mission by providing food service in underserved communities across the country,” says their mission statement at www.mercychefs.com.

Mercy Chefs doesn’t just provide food for local churches and organizations, but by creating mobile kitchens, they are able to expand their services abroad. From the aftermath of hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, to the current devastation and upheaval in Ukraine, Mercy Chefs has provided over 18.5 million meals. Thanks to their six mobile kitchens and four community kitchens, Mercy Chefs is able to provide for those in need. We are told that Mercy Chefs is on the ground right now helping Ukrainian refugees at the Romanian border.
