Penuche Fudge

This is the only flavor that uses brown sugar instead of white. It used to be a regionally flavor found only in the northeastern and southern states of America but now is popular around the country. This flavor can be spelled with an "e" or an "i" at the end but either way it is pronounced "pee - new - chee". Even A.I. agrees with us!

The flavor is quite unique with a tasting combination of caramel, butterscotch and maple. While it is a soft and creamy fudge like all our offerings it has a taste of mollases due to the brown sugar content. 

When the fudge tubs are frozen you can tip them upside down under warm water to easily remove them to a cutting board to slice into smaller pieces. 

Even though the name sounds Italian it has its roots in Portugal before it made its way across the Atlantic to America.
