Peanut Butter Crunch Fudge

Peanut Butter Crunch is made with vanilla fudge but we use home-roasted, crunched peanuts along with peanut butter to give it that special texture and taste. Be aware, however, that very hot weather (above 90 degrees) can release the peanut butter oils causing a harmless but not-so nice looking white film on the top. Although it is called "peanut" butter it did not come from a nut but was processed from a legume. Legumes are a classification of plants that produce pods with seeds such as beans, lentils and alfalfa. All are very rich in protein. 

Studies have indicated that one or two tablespoons of peanut butter taken at night, help you sleep better. Those studies, unfortunately, did not mention peanut butter fudge!
