This flavor is a vanilla-based fudge with peach flavorings. The peach is not indigenous to North America but was brought over by the Spaniards and Franciscan Monks in the 1500s. 

Native American Indians and colonialsts bot soon cultivated their own groves. With the invention of refrigeration and faster transportaion the peach soon found a world-wide market.
