Although many associate pumpkin with the fall season we make it throughout the year.  Pumpkin is very versatile in the kitchen and looks nice as decorative addtion during the autumn months. As a food source it provides lots of fiber, and vitamin A and C. 

The seeds can be roasted and the meat can be made into a sauce, soup or a smoothie. It can sometimes be the butt of a joke that during harvest the flavor is often available in many grocery products - some of which you could not imagine.
