Our Chocolate Rum Raisin Fudge is a classic flavor using brand name ingredients. We us real rum (along with rum extract) and California raisins to produce a wonderful fragrance right when you lift the lid. The rum flavor is reasonably strong and blends perfectly well with the chocolate. The raisins make for a chewy texture and, of course, add to the taste too. FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $55.

But why rum?

Spirt soaked raisins had their beginnings in the 1700s in Sicily but with Marsala wine instead of rum. Rum was substituted later, and why not? The Caribbean rum producers flooded the market with superior quality rum and the raisins sold even better. 

A century later raisins soaked in rum came to America with the Italians. In the 1980s Haagen-Dazs put them into ice cream.  And in 2000 Phenomenal Fudge put them into chocolate fudge. What a wonderful lineage.
