Technically a praline is defined as a nut boiled in sugar until it is brown and crisp. We make our praline fudge a little differently. First we spread a layer of meaty, roasted pecans between two layers of vanilla fudge and then swirl caramel on the top. The chewy part is the middle layer while the rest is sinfully sweet vanilla. Pecans thrive in the south eastern USA where tasty praline recipes are plentiful and tested to perfection.
