Ingredients:
2 cups of powdered sugar
1 cup of cocoa (Dutch processed preferred
though I just use Hershey's brand)
2 1/2 cups of powdered milk
1 teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of cornstarch
1 pinch of cayenne pepper (not mandatory)
Hot water or milk
Combine all ingredients except the water in a mixing bowl and mix
evenly. In a small pot, heat 4 to 6 cups of water in order to dissolve
the mixture. Or, you can simply fill a mug with two to three
tablespoons of the mixture and add the hot liquid. Stir to dissolve
powder. Seal the rest of the dry powder that you haven't used in an
airtight container and store indefinitely in the pantry. Makes 5 1/2
cups of dry mix.
